About the Foundation
Ashva is a non-profit platform created to connect horse welfare, rescue, public understanding, childhood learning and responsible equestrian sport.
Why Ashva began
Ashva began with a need to make the whole horse visible: the rescue case and the lifelong individual; the school experience and the responsibility behind it; the athlete and the care system that supports performance.
Welfare, behaviour, education, research and sport are frequently discussed in different rooms. This can create rushed learning, misunderstood behaviour, invisible care work and limited public awareness of lifelong responsibility.
The responseAshva connects professionals, communities, children, families, institutions and horse people around practical knowledge and responsible action.
Every decision begins with the individual horse’s physical comfort, emotional state, history, readiness and right to clear boundaries.

Ashva’s purpose is to bring horse welfare and human understanding closer together: a place where care matters, curiosity is welcome and learning starts with respect for another living being.
That purpose connects all six pillars. Rescue needs a long-term view of care. Education needs patient, knowledgeable guidance. Sport needs sound foundations. Collaboration gives families, schools, professionals and institutions a meaningful way to contribute.
